Compared with the popular EC060V model, the IC080LV has a much higher 384 x 288 resolution pixel detector combined with a low 50mK (0.05° C) thermal sensitivity.
With over 110,000 pixels, the IC080LV has nearly 10x more pixels than a standard 160 x 120 detector.

Combined with a refresh imaging rate of 50HZ, a 24x18° lens and a 3.5" LCD display, the resulting image is crisp, sharp and defined.

Fusion Imaging & PIP
"Fusion" is the combination of both an "infrared" and a "conventional" photo.
Because the IC080LV features a built-in digital lens with photo lamp, it allows the operator to overlay the thermal image ontop of a background digital photograph, and then control the level of transparency. By adjusting the transparency, the background image can provide more recognisable definition to the image whilst the foreground thermal image can indicate a thermal problem or anomoly.

The moveable PIP (picture in picture) setting means both the digital and infrared images can be aligned correctly in the Fusion mode.

The biggest bonus of having a digital camera and infrared camera combined in the IC080LV is taking both images at once with the one camera.
