The Trotec BB25 is a more advanced coating thickness assessment elcometer when compared with the simple BB20 below.

With the BB25 you can quickly and precisely determine the thickness of non-magnetic coatings such as paints, varnishes, plastic coatings, zinc coatings, enamels or chrome plating both on ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic metals. The sensitive dual sensor is just as precise on iron and steel as it is on non-ferrous metals like aluminium, magnesium or titanium.

The spring-loaded measuring head comes with a practical V-groove mechanism. This allows easy measurements of round objects, for example, curved metals, axles or hinges.

The BB25 has a convenient, single-handed operation, providing precise coating results in a measuring range between 0 and 2,000 µm (0-2mm). Depending on the measuring object you can set an alarm that is triggered when falling below a freely definable layer thickness.

Furthermore, the data transfer is effected via Bluetooth - simple and wireless.

The Trotec BB20 is a simple coating thickness assessment meter.

The BB20 features an innovative dual sensor which enables you to measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings like paint and varnishes, synthetic coatings, zinc coatings, enamel or chrome as well as galvanised steel or iron and non-iron metals like aluminium, magnesium, titanium etc.

The measuring head is spring-mounted and has a practical V groove.
This makes it easier to carry out measurements on rounded and curved objects like axes or hinges and prevents vibrations from distorting or affecting the measuring results.

The measuring device is extremely compact and can be used with one hand only.

The BB20 has a measuring range from 0 to 1,250 µ, with accuracy typically 3% of the measured value.
A user settable alarm function alerts the user when predefined thickness thresholds have been exceeded.

An internal memory stack can hold up to 400 values. These can be downloaded using the basic supplied software program and USB cable.
