The PLS4NZ is a self-leveling combination plumb dot and horizontal and vertical cross line laser.
Unlike other hybrid and combo lasers available on the market, the PLS4NZ features the same full 180° span width to the horizontal & vertical laser lines of the PLS180NZ model, the longest in the industry.
If placed against a wall the vertical line will run up the wall behind the unit, across the ceiling and down the opposite wall to the floor.
The horizontal line will run all the way around the room.
Additonally, the PLS4NZ features a laser dot plumb up and plumb down mode allowing the unit to be used to precisely transfer vertical points like a plumb bob.
The PLS4NZ can be simply placed
on the floor/surface or mount it to a timber stud or metal frame using the wall bracket.
For height control of the horizontal line, mount the PLS4NZ to a height elevating camera tripod.
The PLS4NZ can be used outside in the laser cross mode, between 5 to 30 meters with the optional PLS SLD receiver. (See image direct left)
The PLS4NZ is designed for builders, tiling, glaziers, boat builders, kitchen and bathroom fitout, electrical technicians, structural steel and joiners, and commercial interior fitout contractors.
PLS lasers do not use pendulum locks for their lasers. Their engineers have developed a system that does not require a locking mechanism. If an instrument needs a lock to protect the leveling mechanism, what happens when it falls from a height during use? – 'run to the laser and move the lock into position half way through its fall before it hits the ground?’
