Builders, construction companies, commercial contractors and concrete placers need to use an automatic compensated laser with a high accuracy of between +/- 1.0mm to 1.6mm per 30m (7-10" sec arc) and a high accuracy receiver.
Why?
Because this is the accuracy typically acheived by using a good dumpy level.
The Pro Shot Alpha has these high specifications.

Simply mount the laser onto a heavy duty tripod, press power, and the Alpha automatically levels by itself.
If the laser is bumped, knocked or disturbed during use, the elevation height alert automatically turns off the laser and warns the operator with flashing lights on the laser.

The Alpha also features a manual grade slope matching feature with up and down arrows. This allows the user to roughly align the laser for basic single grade slope and drainage work.
Whilst in manual slope mode, the Cross Axis self levelling feature of the Alpha keeps the second x axis level at all times.

With an operating range of 610 metres and a high rotation speed of up to 1200RPM, the Alpha provides superior accuracy even on the largest civil contracting sites.

Alpha XD
For long laser levelling applications, the Alpha XD model is available. The Alpha XD has an extended operating range of 1000 metres.

Apache Storm 'mm' display Receiver "UPGRADE"
For an additional cost, you can choose to upgrade the standard laser package (see bottom of the page) by choosing to purchase the Apache Storm 'mm' display digital laser receiver.
Different to every other receiver on the market, it display's the exact amount of millimetres (high or low) to level on the easy to read large LCD display.

The 5 Year guardian warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship PLUS the internal leveling mechanism, laser diode, optics and rotating mirror against damage from any cause.

Once shipped from the manufacturer, Accurate Instruments' Calibration and Service Centres check and adjust all instruments on collimators and ranges, then fit them with the appropriate shockwatch, calibration sticker and issue a test calibration certificate.

Shockwatches a damage indicator that alert the user whether the instrument has been dropped.

The Pro Shot Alpha is checked, calibrated and certified by Accurate Instruments then fitted with a shockwatch.
