Pulsar Quantifier

The Quantifier range of integrated Class 1 and Class 2 sound level meters from Pulsar are designed to meet the demands of measuring all types of environmental and construction noise, accurately and with ease of use.

With a range of 6 models, the Quantifier appeals to a wide range of operators, primarily wanting to measure and record general sound levels in either environmental or construction zones.

Constructed from a diecast rugged casing and featuring a large easy to read LCD display, the Pulsar Quantifier is a high quality built SPL meter manufactured in the United Kingdom.
The Quantifier range complies with virtually all worldwide noise measurement regulations making it the ideal compliant instrument for industrial, general and environmental noise monitoring.

Differentiating the Quantifier from other models in the Pulsar portfolio of products is that every model in the range comes standard with data recording and Ln values (e.g. L10, L50, L95 etc)

Key features of the Quantifier are;

- Data Logging standard across all models

- Ln values as standard (five Ln values including L10, L90 and L95.)

- 1:1 Octave Band Filters (Models 93, 94, 95 & 96)

- 1:3 Octave Band Filters (Models 95 & 96)

- Time History (up to 12 days of 1 second data can be stored)

- Wide 25dBA - 140dBA measurement range

- Graphical LCD with Quasi-Analogue display


Unlike many other fully featured sound level meters, the Quantifier stays true to Pulsar's approach of ease of use equipment.
The scroll through screens offer all the relevant information to the user whilst the intuitive Analyser software program makes downloading and reporting a breeze.
For Industrial Noise measurements, models featuring the 1:1 Octave Band Filters can be used for the selection of accurate hearing protection.
The user can choose the preferred PPE from a database of hearing defender products included in the software package.

For longterm outdoor environmental monitoring, an optional kit is available and measurements can be downloaded remotely via GSM.

If the calibration testing of the Quantifier meter is maintained as per calibration dates, the warranty of the Quantifier extends to 3 years.
