Trotec BP21
CODE: TEMP TROTEC BP21
The Trotec BP21 is a handheld infrared laser temperature gun with a measuring range of -35 deg C to +800 deg C.
Often refered to as laser pyrometers, these units are used to determine the temperature of a solid non reflective surface.
Simply click the trigger button, and measure the temperature.
Compared to other low cost models which often have a poor spot resolution of 6:1 or 8:1, the BP21 has a good optical resolution specification of 12:1.
This means at 12 meters distance from the target, the spot measurement size is approx. 1 meter in diameter.
The BP21 also features adjustable emissivity correction and a dual laser pointer, which identifies the approx. spot measuring size.
For low light conditions, the BP21 features backlit display.
The BP21 is suitable for measuring targets that are medium to large in size.
If you are measuring smaller targets, for example, electrical cables and wires, or extreme temperatures, see the TP7 and TP10 models below.
Ideal for the measurement of food, pizza ovens, general engineering, hvac, heat loss assessments etc.
Product specifications

Trotec TP7
CODE: TEMP TROTEC TP7
The Trotec TP7 is an infrared laser temperature gun with a measuring range of -50deg C to +1000 deg C.
Often refered to as laser pyrometers, these units are used to determine the temperature of a solid surface.
Compared to the BP21, the TP7 has a smaller spot measuring size.
The higher optical resolution specification for the TP7 is 30:1.
This means at 30 meters distance from the target, the spot measurement size is approx. 1 meter in diameter.
It also measures temperatures as high as 1000 deg C.
This makes the TP7 more suitable for measuring targets that are small to medium in size. Because the spot measuring size is smaller than many models, the measurement results acheived are usually more consistent.
The TP7 also features adjustable emissivity correction and a dual laser pointer, which identifies the approx spot measuring size.
Ideal for the measurement of food, electrical and industrial temps, preventitive and predictive maintenance, general engineering, hvac, heat loss assessments etc.
Product specifications
.
- Temperature Measurement Range: -50 ° C to + 1000 ° C
- Optical Resolution: 30:1
- Spot Measuring Size: Small. Smallest spot measuring size 25.4mm @ 0.762 meters
- Temperature Accuracy: +/-1% (21 ° C to 300 ° C) otherwise +/- 1.5 to +/- 2.5%
- Adjustable Emissivity: Yes, 0.10 to 1.0
- Data Logging: No
- Weight: 180 grams
- Dimensions: 152mm x 120mm x 48mm
- Battery Type: 1x 9V

Trotec TP10
CODE: TEMP TROTEC TP10
The Trotec TP10 is a high specification laser temperature gun with basic data logging.
It has a wide measuring range of -50 deg C to +1850 deg C.
A professional and precision tool, the TP10 has a very smaller spot measuring size. The high optical resolution specification for the TP10 is 75:1.
In addition to the TP7 and BP21 models, the TP10 has a basic data logging memory for upto 100 measurements.
Each time a measurement is performed, the TP10 will also display the maximum, minimum and difference in the measured temperatures.
For contact surface measurements, the TP10 has a external type K sensor for this type of temperature determination.
A tripod thread, located on the bottom of the TP10, allows the user to attach the pyrometer to a camera type tripod, enabling long term stable measurements from the same point.
A straightforward software program is supplied with the TP10 for USB connected measurements.
The TP10 also features adjustable emissivity correction and a dual laser pointer, which identifies the approx spot measuring size.
Ideal for the mechanical, electrical and industrial temps, preventitive and predictive maintenance, heating, ventillation etc.
Product specifications
.
- Temperature Measurement Range: -50 °C to + 1850 °C
- Optical Resolution: 75:1

Trotec BP25
CODE: TEMP TROTEC BP25
The Trotec BP25 is a handheld infrared laser dew point temperature gun.
It is designed to locate and determine potential low dew point temperatures on materials and surfaces where condensation may occur, resulting in mould formation.
e.g. un-insulated walls of homes.
As it used primairly as a"dew point scanner" in residential and commercial structures, it features a lower infrared temperature measuring range when compared with the popular the BP21 and TP7 models (see above).
The measuring range is -50 deg C to +260 deg C.
Laser pyrometers are used to determine the temperature of a solid non reflective surface.
Simply click the trigger button, and measure the temperature.
As well as displaying a dew point temperature readout, the BP25 also features an LED colour visual and acoustic alarm for low readings. The common "traffic light" colours of green, yellow and red indicate the safe, risk and low values.
Unlike the BP21, TP7 and TP9 models, there is NO adjustable emissivity correction on the BP25. Should your application require emissivity adjustment, please see the the BP21 and TP7 models above.
Ideal for the measurement of hvac, insulation, food industry etc.
Product specifications
.
