The FLIR C2 is an entry level low resolution pocket-sized thermal camera designed for very simple HVAC, building, moisture and heat loss evaluations.
About the same size as a conventional compact digital camera, the C2 is slim, light and fits comfortably in any work pocket.
It is ideal as a simple quick non-destructive assessment tool to identify potential problems that may require further testing or repair.

The C2's 80x60 pixel (4800) resolution detector captures and displays thermal patterns and small temperature differences useful on the 3" touchscreen LCD display.
A generous 45° field-of-view frame enables good wide angle viewing of larger objects.

The C2 features FLIR's unique MSX® technology that adds key details by combining the infrared and digital images from the C2. The result is an all-in-one, undiluted thermal picture with visible light features that lets you instantly recognize where the problematic heat pattern is.
The AC080V model features the manual adjustments such as ranging (level & span) required by the user, to be able to perform these types of thermal surveys.

The fully radiometric C2 also has the following additional features;
- 640x480 Digital camera
- Radiometric JPEG IR capture
- USB data transfer
- Built-in LED spotlight


NOTE; For more detailed surveying of building envelopes,pre purchase, heat loss assessments, electrical p&p systems, a higher resolution camera with increased sensitivity and a better geomtric resolution is required.
